INGREDIENTS
- 30 bite-size pieces fresh fruit (strawberries, orange, kiwi, banana or melon), rinsed and patted dry
- 8 oz. NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Premier White Baking Bar, broken into small pieces
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
INSTRUCTIONS
LINE baking sheet with wax paper.
MICROWAVE broken baking bars and vegetable shortening in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 45 seconds; STIR. If pieces retain some of their original shape, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until melted; cool slightly.
DIP fruit about halfway into melted baking bars; shake off excess. Place on prepared baking sheet; refrigerate until set.
NOTE: Pretzels, nuts, dried fruit, pound cake and/or cookies can also be used.
