Candy Bar Blondies

]

Editor's Note: Congratulations to Ann H. of Franklin, Ind., the winner of our Grandkids' Favorite Recipes Contest! We chose these sumptuous brownies because of their interesting twist on familiar ingredients. Well, that and they have candy bars chopped up in them! Yum.
Here's the story behind Ann's brownies:
"These blond brownies are a very old recipe from my great-grandmother's sister. My family calls them 'Aunt Elma's Brownies' after her. She made them with chocolate chips, but I once tried chopped Butterfingers instead and my grandchildren loved them. in fact, they won't let me go back to the original recipe! Either way, they are very, very good."
