INGREDIENTS
- 1 package (16.5 oz.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Bar Dough, slightly softened
- Red and green food coloring
INSTRUCTIONS
PREHEAT oven to 325° F.
BREAK dough in half. Stir food coloring into each cookie dough half to desired shade. Refrigerate for 15 minutes for easier handling. Divide each colored dough into 24 pieces. Press 2 different colored pieces of dough together; roll into 24, 1 1/4-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 12 to 13 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and set but centers are still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
TIPS:
• Food coloring paste or gel will result in more intensely colored cookies. Try coloring one half of the dough either red or green and leaving the other half plain.
• Recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for a larger batch.
